Fig and Gorgonzola Crostini- Two Ways

  • 1 loaf french baguette sliced
  • 4 oz. gorgonzola cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 small jar fig spread or 2-3 large figs (sliced thin)
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • *honey for drizzling
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Place sliced bread onto baking sheet and lightly drizzle oil over bread.
  3. Toast until golden brown 12-15 min.
  4. Allow bread to cool then spread on cheese.
  5. Top with either a small spoonful of fig spread or sliced figs.
  6. *If using fresh figs, drizzle a small amount of honey on top.
